Yes — Ultracera can handle the heat of everyday cooking.

Our material has been tested under extreme conditions, including:

150°C heating cycles followed by ice cooling

An extreme 250°C heat test for 45 minutes

No cracks, no burn marks, no colour change, no surface damage

This means Ultracera is highly resistant to hot pots, pans, baking trays, and kettles placed directly on the surface.

But here’s the practical advice:

Everyday hot pots? Yes, it’s safe.

You can place a warm or hot pot from the stove onto Ultracera without worrying.

Extremely high temperatures? Use common sense.

Items straight from:

an open flame

a commercial wok burner

or a 300°C+ oven

may exceed typical kitchen temperatures.

While Ultracera has shown excellent resistance, using a trivet occasionally is still a good habit to protect any benchtop in the long run.
